New Lunar Movie Night #2

Hey guys. BronyFever and Gensi are preparing for High school, Kanas6 is still in Ireland (and will be until the 20th) McLeeo41 is preparing to host this next New Lunar Movie Night, and Flowergothic is preparing for camp.
So it's me for now. And I'm gonna say 2 things:
First off, there was a few mistakes in the sched. for upcoming NLMN films. SO this month's film is....

1984

SUMMARY: Based on the 1960s book of the same name by George Orwell, this takes place in a "Negative Utopia" called Oceania. There, two people fall in love against the government.
The film will be in english. But, it IS rated R, so minors under 17, get parent permission before watching this. Parents, you can find more info about the content here.

NEXT:

So yes, me and the rest of the staff team are introducing (drumroll)...

NEW LUNAR MOVIE NIGHT

Here's how it works:

Once every month, one of the staff team members will select a film (this month it'll be Flowergothic, then McLeeo41, then Gensi, then Kanas6, then Coolbreeze911, then me, then we start over until a new staff member comes)

So for July, It's Flowergothic, and the film this month is...

BATTLE ROYALE

ABOUT: Released in 2000, Battle Royale is about Class 3-B of Shiroiwa Junior High School having 72 Hours to kill each other on a deserted island until one remains. If more than one person survives, everyone dies.

The film has Japanese audio, but will have english subtitles.

It'll be on our Livestream page on July 1, it should begin sometime in between 5:20-6:00.

Oh yeah, some things:
In Japan, this film was rated R-15. So if you are under 15, get parent/guardian permission. Flowergothic doesn't want angry e-mails from adults.

So I Guess you've heard...

BLOGGING: KANAS6

... That we'll all be away this summer (Gensi should've told you your plans)
I know, it's sad. :_(
But I'm gonna tell you all the dates of when we're all gonna leave.
I'll start with myself. My last day will be May 27, and I'll be off to Ireland on May 29.

Flowergothic will be off to the boardwalk by June 3.

Gensi is leaving for... whatever the day before Flowergothic

McLeeo41's last day is June 1, then that camp starts.

Coolbreeze911's last day is June 2, she'll be off three days after that.

But, for now, bye... :(

NEW SHOW!!!!!!!

WHO'S BLOGGING: GENSI

OK, Flowergothic is away for her B-day (It's really tomorrow, but tomorrow's mother's day), so I'm in charge of the blog for today.
So I wanna tell you guys about our new show... (drumroll please)...

NEW LUNAR SHOW! =) 

It'll be about the lives stuff that's LR based, and is narrated by Flowergothic and me (we'll switch every 2 episodes) 

It'll be on on Sunday Mornings and mid-afternoon of Tuesdays and Thursdays (I think Thursdays, but I'm certain about Sundays and Tuesdays) 

So the 1st episode will be tomorrow Tuesday, and it should start by 7:20 AM 5:00 PM (Central Region time). 

Oh, and BTW, I have good news and bad news.

The good news: IT'S ALMOST SUMMER!!!! 

The bad news: the entire staff team will be away this summer, each with their different plans: 

FLOWERGOTHIC: Hitting the boardwalk (Not Kemah, location is classified) with her friends until July 21, then off to camp in early August. Back by August 19.

GENSI (me): Going to be with relatives in California. Back by August 18.

COOLBREEZE911: Visiting her brother in New York then road trip to somewhere on the east coast. Back by the day before Labor Day. 

McLEEO41: Camp Counselor for day camp. Back by end of August. 

And last (but not least)... 

KANAS6: Spending time with father (his parents are divorced) in Ireland. Back by August 26.

Here's a bit of the backstory:

Part 1: Once Upon a Fanfiction- 
Back in early 2011, a fanfiction called "Lunar Republic" was published online (read chapter 1 here), about Princess Luna taking over Equestria. That fanfic became very popular and made lots of bronies support the Republic.
Other Bronies, on the other hand, decided to support Celestia and made the Solar Empire.
That was when the Division began.

Part 2: The Great Debates-  
Act I- I'm That Element, So I belong Here!:
One of the most known Borny debates is which nation the Mane 6 will support. Here are ideas for each:
Twilight Sparkle: Most litely the Solar Empire because she is Celestia's star pupil 
Pinkie Pie: Either one.  She just goes with the nature. 
Rainbow Dash: Most likely the Solar Emppire because of her element (Loyalty). 
Rarity: Depends on which one is more "stylish". 
Applejack: Most likely Solar Empire because she is the element of Honesty. 
Fluttershy: Depends. She is the element of Kindness 
So yeah, that.
Act II- Eternal Night... NOT!: 
There are some rumors spreading about what each side will do. An example is Eternal Night/Day, but that's just propaganda. Worthless Propaganda.

Part 3: Oh, The Glory of Media!- 
A user known as IAmNotNotACleverPony made a song called, "For the New Lunar Republic", which became very popular:

Epilogue- 
So yeah, for the next few years, The Lunar Republic will be like a renaissance for the Bronies, that'll inspire art, music, videos, and writing. And it's all good.

First off, Kanas6, Really? You had to post yelling on why the F Luna wasn't in the last two episodes of the season? You HAD to do that?
Anyway, yes, I have a slow computer.
An, old, REALLY slow, Dell laptop.
And since I'm staying with relatives for the weekend (who don't have HUB on cable), I had to stream online to find a site with it.
It paused every 8 minutes because it was slow.
But A Canterlot Wedding is AWESOME! Waaaaaaaaaaaay better than the season 1 finale! =)

... which involved the ponies getting crazed out of their minds, unlike season 2.
So yeah... I HATE SLOW COMPUTERS!

The oldest member of the staff team (and no we're not gonna display her age here), Coolbreeze911 is a moderator who likes the fact that she is only one year older than Flowergothic. She co-controls the things Mcleeo41 and Kanas6 do. You can find her as much as you can find Kanas6.
